Default V50 2005 Door heated mirrors not working

Hi, I am new to the website and posting on here, so Hello..
Both of my door heated mirrors have not worked this morning but the rear window defrosted ok... does anyone know if the heated door mirrors on a V50 2005 has a separate fuse to the rear window?

The handbook for my S40 2006 lists fuse 12 as "heated rear window"
but does not list any others for the mirrors.

door mirrors are usually with the heated rear screen its possible the elements in the mirrors have failed these can be checked with a multi meter by popping out the mirror glass. as a quick stopgap fix put a plastic bag over the mirror on frosty nights

The heated mirrors are powered via the door modules in each door, so shares the same power supply and control signals as the electric windows, mirror adjustment motors and the door locks.

So if any of those are working OK, then the fuses will be fine, and the fault finding can be restricted to the heater elements themselves, the wiring from the mirrors to the door electronics modules, and the modules themselves.

^^^^ That - contrary to what you might think, the heated mirrors use only a small amount of power so is fed from the door modules. It’s also rare for the elements to fail, most likely issue is corrosion on the spade terminals.
