Default Aftermarket bluetooth kits

Hi all,

I have a MY09 S80 with standard audio (no amp) and wanted to fit a Parrot CK3100 bluetooth kit.

Autoleads now have a SOT cable for the new S80 but after many hours scouring the t'interweb I cannot find any info on removing the radio or connecting the cable.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to do or can point me in the right direction?

It was so much easier on my S60

Thanks

M.

Default Dont do it!

I had a Parrot kit which I took outr of my L200 when I bought the XC70 two years ago. I too struggled to find out how to connect the leads - having fitted it to the Mitsi, no issues.

In the end I visited a local ICE workshop who said that the Parrot kit is not compatible with some Volvo units (granted, they did mention Dolby as an issue). I was advised not to fit the Parrot kit and they refused to do the work???????

On the S80 I'd either buy the genuine Volvo article for an integrated setup, or live with a seperate unit and not connect to the car audio system.
