Compression test results
Hi guys,
I‘m an owner of a Volvo V40 D4204T9 production year 2016 and I have an issue with leaking intake vakves due to carbon deposits on the valve seats and so on. I am test engineer for combustion engines and I performed a compression test at work and got 29 bar on cylinder 1,3 and 4 Cylinder 2 had only 21bar My question to you guys is if anyone performed a compression check as well and what results did you get? Since all cylinders have 29 bar except cylinder 2, I guess that 29 bar is the nominal value. But I would still like to know if anyone can confirm the values? Compression check was performed with the starter motor Thanks |
