Default Sill problem

Today i noticed an issue with my V40, only had it a week and not happy after noticing this.

The "sill", which i realise is really just a plastic cover for the actual structure of the car underneath, has sort of "come away" at the front. It looks like its not clipped in correctly. I tried popping it back in but it wont go. Maybe unfastening a couple of screws at the bottom of the front wheel arch liner may help?

What do you guys think?

The passenger side is similar although not as bad :-(

Supposed to be an approved used volvo, 150 checks carried out lol.
