Unhappy headlight arrrr

hi v40 2.0 auto phase 1.5 h4 headlight. A year ago lights started playing up every now and again. droping to just the drivers side light.so 2 months ago did the relay swop in the cem perfect for 2 months.3days ago went to car at 7.am headlights on, keys in my hand, buzzing sound from drivers side dash air vent ish.So did the wiring loom check under rad from fuse box to drivers wing all perfect 10/10 condition very pleased re taped and sealed, checked headlight switch all good, found the dead bulb not replacing at £7, rechecked cem for any shorts seems ok .placed battery back on last night all good i thought 7 ish this morning looked out of window headlights on,so disconected battery help please help, it is starting to get to me. Just to say it has been wet this week,and we also have home safe, any ideas please cheers mike

Hi, I had the same problem as you on my previous S40 and here's a link to a tip/test I used - it's easier than reposting.

Might not work, but if it does it could show there's an issue with the soldering of the new relay?
