Angry Problem With Boost /poor Cold Starting

C70 T5 2001 Had this car now 14 months problems started while driving to work 3rd gear 40mph i put toe down alittle and bang it back fired twice no more boost. Volvo diagnosed a bad MAF replaced it and still it wont boost it hits the 3/4000 rpm you hear the turbo whistling away but no power i changed the diaphram in actuator the other day and still same if i slightly adjust the rod its worst . A flat spot has occured on low rpm at stand still just blipping throttle and every morning i start her up its bad ,popping and farting trying to cut out this contiues for 3/4 mins with alittle blue smoke and i mean only a lttle few puffs but as soon as it clears she runs fine.. .I have a friend whos a volvo tech but hes ****e because the volvo laptop is not showing any faults at all he doesnt know what problem is . I have a new ETM on, MAF sensor just replaced, inlet manifold gasket, injector seals replaced, new spark plugs, new pipe clips and all checked for sdplits , STILL NO BOOOOOST

CLICK THE ATTACHMENT there are my plugs in 1 week after cleaning plugs tell you alot about your engines condition the red core and white tip isnt good news i think my car is running too hot in some way.but my temp is at normal half way up on the temp gauge If anyone has idears , before i have to get a bank loan for the cost at volvo main dealers it would be goooooood !

mick,
did you find the problem?
i have a 2003 T5 and the cold starts can be awlful. I also have the same colour plugs which i am concerned about as these were changed about 3k ago and the previous ones were fine.
I was wondering if i had the wrong temperature plugs so was going to equire about a new set.
I am running volvo plugs.
regards
ian

is there a leak on the turbo pipes or intercooler? you said you hear the turbo whistling maybe that is air escaping ... You said it went BANG and the boost disappeared ..
