Default Fault In Car Seat

Hi All,

I have a three month old R Design V60, my passenger seat has developed some really bad ridges in the seat base.

I think at some point its going to start cracking or tearing the leather.

Do you think its something I need to take back to the Volvo? Or is this "normal"?

Thanks All

It's "normal" if your passenger is getting in, sitting down, and twisting into position, without then lifting their butt up for a second.

Thing is its normally just me in the car, any other time is my wife driving with me as a passenger.

The drivers seat is perfect, with no rucks or any creases at all.

Its probably at most had about 200 miles worth of driving with a passenger, over the last three months since I had it - so very little use.

Take back to Volvo, indeed, why not?

Leather is a natural material- no two peaces are the same. Like others above, to me this is normal.

yes take it back , poor factory quality control , show them your good seat , that's how it is supposed to be .. they can order one in and show you before fitting it , it doesn't cost them a penny to send it back if not needed ....that's part of the volvo parts quality service.. They are encouraged to get parts in "in case" to give you a first time fix .
