Tow Bar Socket - S70
Hi can anyone tell me where to locate the factory fitted electrical socket, that my OEM tow bar electrics connect up to.
I am told [righty or wrongly] there is a socket in the boot of my car , possibly in the well for the spare wheel ....the only thing in there is the spare wheel and a tube of POLO,s [god knows how they got there ] !!! Before i start ripping inner panels and the rest of the car to bits could anyone tell if 1. is there in fact a socket to be found 2. where is it 3. what does it look like Cheers |

When i fitted mine i just used a universal kit, which i was surprised to find it worked the trailer warning on the dash, the one that flashed with the indicators when towing. Anyway, i did search long and hard to a socket, and didnt find one, as i wanted to wire it so the bulb fail ect would still work. I then guess the OEM kit probably just pluged into the tailights, with like a piggy back type set up.
