Amazon MOT/service options in London
Does anyone know of any reasonably priced garages to take a 120 to now that Tony Barrett/Braydon Motors have gone?
I know that Geza, Tony's old mechanic, has moved to Sentinel Volvo near Tottenham but I've heard they can be pricey. Just wondered if anyone had any recent experiences of Sentinel or any alternatives for classic Volvos...? |

I have found that going to a local authority testing station removes any worry of garages being connected with testing stations and consequent repair costs. I used to do this locally but the tester was such a mouthy so-and-so that I couldn't stand the visit any more. Recently my Amazon used to go through Braydon very smoothly, with almost no work needed and I also would like a reliable alternative.
I'll certainly try Sentinel, where Braydon moved to. It's about 15 mins extra drive north from where Braydon used to be. Geza has been working on my Amazon since he was with Tony at The Arches, and knows his stuff, as of course does Noddy who is still at The Arches. Tomtom |

+1 for Noddy at Deaconcraft in Chiswick. And I did a council MOT at Harrow this year for the first time- plain sailing- a pass with a few advisories, on my less than perfect '97 940...
