Some time ago there was an article about curing an oil leak where the speedo cable goes into the overdrive case but can’t find it. I have replaced the oil seal but it still leaks.

Thanks for the reply but that’s not the one. It was from a very knowledgable gentleman in America who gave a detailed description on how to fit these parts correctly to finally cure the leak.

...I don't know if I have too much to add...that seal shown in your link is quite important...but if it has been replaced, and leakage persists, a close inspection of the sealing area and speedocable thumbnut would be in order to more closely determine the source of leak... Cheers |
