UPDATE:

After 8 days, all seems to be working fine.
Hi guys, i just wandered if anyone knew the difference between two part numbers for an alarm siren. i've had my alarm go off every time i lock it with the fob and am going to replace the siren unit as mentioned above.
i have a 1996 s40 2.0SE and have come across a siren unit with part 30820032. is there a major difference between this and the one Mick used (30820037).
Any help is appreciated.
