turbo problem

Hi all great site need a bit of help, i have a s40 20L diesel 58 plate
anyway got in the car this morning and it sounds like i have an hole in a intercooler pipe or a dump valve on its whistles on boost very loud so took the hose off to the intercooler and held hand over but no leak and tryed same with airbox any ideas

Use a gas leak tester in spray can and have the assistant rev the car. Spray at all the joints and hoses, look for bubbles. Don't forget about the intercooler...

hi again the noise is coming from the wastegate actuator when on boost seems to be rattling and over boosting?
