And can anyone tell me what the difference is bewteen the d5 se sport and the r-design model from the pics it looks identical to a r-design?

Pretty sure it's just the sport model. Doesn't have the R-design badges and think they had blue dials also. I've never been able to tell the difference in the body kits but sure one of the experts on here will be able to tell you what they are.

ive just been reading the thread about someones v50 keep going into limp mode which they think could be the CEM is that a common fault with the volvos? Was just wondering if to look out for anything when going to look or if you can only tell if the car goes into limp mode?

You certainly know that a car has gone into limp mode (safety mode). The car will not rev beyond 3,000 revs and there will be a severe lack of power. The car does this when it detects a problem somewhere to limit/stop any damage. Often it can be a sensor itself that is the problem and actually nothing mechanically wrong. |

remapped D5 will be pretty quick.
Test drive both! That's the only only way to decide if a 2.0D or D5 suits you better. |
