Default V50 petrol 1.8 2008 timing belt change

Can anyone tell me or point to links of
(1) when V50 1.8 petrol 2008 should consider timing belt/cambelt change?
(2) It is chain or rubber/nylon belt?

I tried to search this site, but the posts seem to related to other models, not about this model.
I also did google search but the information is quite confusing.

Thanks!

Well, if you find a timing belt, you may happily change it!

But I highly recommend not to change it, as you have a chain. This requires service (depending on how much you drive) after around 8 years or 100.000 miles. Some papers even state to check it at around 150.000 miles (12 years).

So no need to even touch it at the moment!

After Enjoyed a broken timing belt from a French car and a rigid metal chain of TOYOTA, this sounds like another Jubilee event for me.

The Duratec (engine it is) chain is really rarely an issue.
