Do you mind if I ask what the problems were that led you to reject he car?

There was a problem with the paintwork. The colour (shade) of the driver's door was different to the rest of the car. Long story short, it transpired that the door had been resprayed at some point. I proved this by arranging to have the paint depth measured. The dealer offered to respray it (again) but I said that wasn't acceptable.

It dragged on for weeks so in the end, and before the 30-day limit, I wrote to the dealer formally rejecting the car. The dealer was reasonably helpful eventually but it could've been resolved more quickly and with less hassle. It was also annoying that no-one could (or would) explain the respray.

So I charged the battery full last night, but it is still happening every time the engine stops with the stop/stop. This was also associated with a minor crash of software like the dash going very brief black and the display theme changing from my individual mode to the standard mode.

Anyone else with this

The only common thing between the two episodes is that is I think I was cold the first time it happened and it was cold yesterday/today
I have exactly the same problem. Mines a 2019 T5 Inscription Pro. If I turn the start/stop system off I don't see the error but obviously I'd rather not be burning petrol for no reason.

So, a week since a "reset + software update" (I did not notice anything different software wise), has not recurred yet. This morning was particularly cold. So I don't think it's related to cold weather.

Strangely I think my HK audio souds better since

Not sure if anyone else has had this (just did a quick search and only found this from 4yrs ago).

Our 5.5yr old/78k miles XC90 suffered it this week.

Problems are related to the AUX battery, I think. But may also be the way the AUX and main battery are used.

There's a Volvo technical bulletin that covers similar (if not identical to ours) symptoms - TJ34142

Indie has serviced the car....tried a reset (disconnecting the battery for 15+mins) but was still doing it. So AUX battery replaced (£115)....they've tested it and declared it OK, but said to run it for a bit and if the fault returns, we can look further.

Thought it might be worth posting up here as I suspect a lot of cars will be coming to this age/mileage now
