Default Suspension mods

I am completing a full customisation of a 1971 P1800 and will be installing a V8 engine.

I am therefore interested to hear from anyone that has any information/advice about full suspension mods (front and rear) or any companies that may be able to help.

Here are a couple of photos.
I think the owner had to work out what air filters would fit under the bonnet.

Not a fan of the rover V8 but if that is what you are going to do then

What sort of suspension mods are you looking for. I can sort your suspension so that it performs well

Many thanks for the pics Groundes-Peace. Think mine is going to be a bigger challenge and a tighter fit - Jaguar supercharged XKR engine from 2000 model year so some bulkhead modification will be required. Just sorting required radiator size before commiting to final location and cutting metal.

Many thanks Classicswede.

In order to fit the planned Jaguar V8 engine, I will need to build a new front axle and suspension system - have you guys gone this far previously?

With regard to the rear axle I know the Volvo unit is very strong but what I don't know is will it be strong enough (with uprated springs/shocks) to cope with the 370bhp output of the Jaguar engine?

How much too wide is the JAG engine to fit the original crossmember?

For the rear axle the amazon axle is not going to stand that power. A 240 axle would be a better bet or a Ford explorer axle could also be used
