Default Amazon -20mm Progressive springs

Hi,
During the build of my Amazon Rally car in 2016 I bought a full set of -20mm progressive springs form Amazon Cars (£250).
Pictures & copy receipt available.
They turned out not to suit the car and I fitted a set of Safari springs instead after only a 200 mile test drive.
So, the -20mm ones are now for sale.

I am open to realistic offers.

These can be shipped within the UK for £10.

Andy,
Glasgow.

Hello Andy, I'd like to have these, please. First, could you confirm why they didn't suit the car...was the unsuitability on normal road use...or when you're pressing-on a la rallye/when GLF? Rgds, Andrew

PS could you pm me and suggest a gentlemanly price, thank you

Hi,
I built a Rally car for the Monte Carlo Historique. During the build I fitted the car with a 120ltr fuel tank over the back axle.
Once the car was fully loaded with all the spares we needed to carry for the event and the tank was full (120kgs of fuel) I felt it sat to low for the event. They were recommended by Amazon Cars, but they did not appreciate the addition fuel load being factored in.
Hence the change to safari springs, also supplied by Amazon Cars, stiffer & with a higher ride height.

This sorted out all the weight issues & ride height for the rough, french roads!!

Andy.

Thanks Andy, from one rally car builder to another...that all makes perfect sense, it's amazing how quickly the weight adds up...

On my first Historic Monte my ex-wife thought we[me and navigator] would starve so she pressed on with a gigantic food box for us...it was as heavy as an Amazon gearbox and even included an enormous roast chicken[!] We hardly touched the food box as were far too busy with the rally and ended up carrying the roasted bird all the way to Monaco!! Didn't have the heart to tell her we didn't eat the thing...sometimes, I do miss her cooking

So what about price? Pls do pm me and if price okay I'll paypal this weekend.

Rgds
Andrew
