1998 Volvo V70 TDi SE Manual - New cambelt etc

So I hadn't planned to sell this - which is why two months ago it went in for a mega service at the garage and had a full belt change, new water pump, new glow plugs, oil and filter service, drop links and perhaps a few bits I've forgotten, at a cost of about £800!

I'll add photos tomorrow, but it's a black 1997 V70 TDi in SE spec - leather, wood trim, winter pack (heated front seats, headlight wipers), seven seat option with the pop-up seats in the boot. For the asking price it will come with a Volvo dog guard and load divider, generic load liner, Thule roof bars, and I think I have some of those Volvo pull-up rear window blinds somewhere.

Just over 130,000 miles and serviced annually in the four years I've owned it - nice clean MOT history as a result with just an advisory for an oil leak which was then addressed with an engine seal. From memory it had new tyres two years ago along with a full refresh of brakes, pads and handbrake shoes, and a new wheel bearing a year ago.

So mechanically it's spot on as far as I can tell - and certainly handles better than the much newer car it's been replaced with. Cosmetically she has marks to the bodywork, particularly the bumpers. She also has a few faults I've been living with - key one that comes to mind is the microswitches in the locks have gone so I leave the interior lights off. The central locking works from the car but not the fob - I'll pop a replacement battery in and see if it solves the issue.

Two sets of keys, V5 in my name, handbook and a decent stack of paperwork. MOTed upon service back in June so about 10 months left to run.

Based in Barons Court, London W6. Looking for £895.

I had every intention of giving this a good wash and taking photos somewhere photogenic, but then the weather and domestic admin got in the way.

So we have some photos that prove it's a car with four wheels! Once this monsoonal weather stops, I'll give it a good wash:
