What's this in the dash of my C70

Hoping one of you can answer this?

Any idea what the 'thing' is in the dashboard of my C70 below the radio on the right (with an S shape on it)? Is it an aerial of some kind?

I've done a Google image search and it returned nothing.

looks like a bracket for a mobile phone. Nothing Volvo.

Seriously, as said before nothing to do with Volvo. Also that black round thing top right of the radio is not Volvo, looks like your dash has had a right rodgering. Both locations should be solid trim with no holes in.

Apparently it's a; Scosche MagicMount(TM) Magnetic Dash and Window Mount.

Both of those will be coming off then. Just hope they don't leave a nasty residue behind.
