Default XC90 - Jump Starting another car

Hi,

I might be a noob here. I want to jump start our Hyundai i10 using our 2017 D5 XC90.
Under the bonnet there is a red cap for +ve and a bolt marked as negative.
The -ve point which just looks like a bolt did not give me enough confidence to go ahead with the procedure.
While reading through some post people mention about a second battery in the boot..
Now I am totally confused....My question is only with respect to XC90 terminals.....

Can I use the leads under the bonnet marked as +ve and negative to jump start another car.

Quick response will be appreciated.

That is what they are there for.

Thanks....I am just confused with following wording on the website
"
The negative battery terminal on the car's starter battery must never be used for connecting an external starter battery or battery charger - only the car's negative charging point may be used as the grounding point."

It means that you have to use the connection points under the bonnet and not the battery terminals
of the starter battery itself under the floor of the cargo area.
