Default 1.6 d2 coolant problems

I have the 1.6 d2 2013 v40
I was having loads of problems with circulation. Everyone was saying doesnt seem like the head. I did the thermostat and problems seemed to go away but not for long. Then got told water pump did that and stil had problems so changed radiator and still same.
Some times i could get hot air through heater and circulation was fine then all of a sudden would change.
Mine turned out to be a small crack in the head gasket
