S40 2005 - rear seat tether

Hi everyone

I am wondering if anyone within the the UK has retrofitted their 2005 S40 with a rear seat tether?

After trawling through forums, I found a thread from 2006 stating that this is the item required - Part no 9475766.
I've spoken with a couple of volvo spares suppliers and although one guy did say he remembered the part... he said their system wasn't showing it anymore.

Apparently the kit would have been in the glove box when the car was originally bought but I'm the third owner so no joy there!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

By tether do you mean the isofix bracket?

Nope, I've already got the isofix bracket (for the base of the rear seat).
This tether is on the back of the rest or in the floor of the boot from all the images I can find.

I'll see if I can upload a pic of what I'm on about.

They're the only legal restraint for a car seat in Australia. Because ISOFIX is the European standard it isn't offered here. Some manufacturers have this on the back of the rear seats as they standardise across all markets but Volvo don't.

I should add, you'd need to replace the seat backs to get these. As far as I can see you cannot retrofit them.
