Default ECC with AQS

If you have climate control and Air Quality Sensor Is it working. I thought mine was faulty so ordered a new sensor only to find that it is not right for my 2001 model (which is working after all). It is very easy to fit in a few minutes but the windscreen scuttle needs lifting up on the front passenger side to get access. If you need a new sensor there's one going cheap at £15.

Mine isn't working but I've yet to investigate why so do you have a part number for the one you're selling?
Is it new and genuine Volvo or something else?

Thanks for the link.
I've read of compatibility issues on aftermarket sensors so do you have Vida and know that the new sensor is working or have you used another method?

The compatability issues are with the face lift models they don't work.
Members who have fitted the Vw/Audio have reported them working on previous face lift models.

I've got a faulty AQS sensor at the moment, so I've taken a punt on a £8 one, on the slow boat from China. Once it arrives I'll see whether it works.
Have got Vida/Dice so I'll be able to check before and after.

HI

The filter for the AQ type of system is coated with active charcoal … so it will be black brand new out of the packet.

if the filter you are fitting is white … its the wrong one (you can get 2 in …)

You are talking about the cabin filter under glove box correct ? The aqs sensor is up above the fan motor on the air inlet
