I think it's because the original post title from Swishtony wasn't proper English grammar anyway (as is perfectly normal and mainstream in a post on this site). So I can't work out whether we're dealing with a verb or noun here.

So, in the spirit of Wimbledon.....duece
It's not deuce. Swishtony and you were correct. We are dealing with a verb. The right word is affected.

Is the headroom affected by the sunroof?

@swishtony. I love the sunroof on mine. Great choice. I'm 6'6" and there's still lots of headroom. No worries there.

One for the plain English campaign.

I can't remember the last car I had a sunroof in but haven't missed them/it either.

The car is very bright and open, I think the XC60 windscreen lets in a lot more light at the top and you can see the sky!

£1200 will move than cover a set of winter wheels.

Thanks, I was pretty sure I was right but couldn't be bothered to pursue the argument! I'm ordering tomorrow and pretty sure the sun roof is going to be on the order sheet!

I've also never had a car with a sunroof but talking of headroom and sunroofs I sat in the new Nissan X-Trail today, it had a sunroof which I did really like. Amazed how awkward it was though, with seat at its lowest my eye line was almost level with the sun visor, very uncomfortable view.

Amazes me how many of these biggish cars are made with so little headroom. Kia Sorrento I can't even sit in! I test drove loads before I even discovered the XC60 most of which were really not comfortable for someone my height.

Just emailed local dealer to get his best price, I've warned him I have quotes from DTD and CarWow so he needs to be good! I know he will come back at me with all sorts of reasons not to buy from DTD so I've preempted him by saying please don't try to sway me with sales patter and that the only thing I'm interested in is his price. I can feel him squirming now.

Hopefully he won't be too affected ;-)
I guarantee you won't be disappointed with a pana roof swishy.
I have mine open most of the time, even in the winter (obviously not when raining ). I have had a sunroof in my last 6 cars

The XC60 is great for tall people, lots of headroom and legroom. It also has awesome seats. A very comfortable car indeed.

A bonus of the sunroof is that it increases the headroom.

Also if you're really really really tall, sit on a booster cushion and stick your head out the roof and you have no visibility problems at all.

Ha! Love it! The sunroof is now a defo, just waiting for a call from local dealer to see his price match with DTD.
