Don't think it means diesel, as its a T5 CD.
You say GT means its the R version of the C70, but I thought all T5's had the same power??!!
The ad on the one I like says 255bhp. Is that correct? Here's the link - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Im not sure but I don`t think GT has anything to do with "R"

CD is the top spec in Volvo luxury specification nothing to do with being petrol or derv

Gt was a pack that Volvo offered to the standard C70 T5 up until the year 2000 which added climate / cruise /traction / better stereo / elec memory heated leather seats (poss only drivers side memory), there was no power hike

I think the GT became a standard package from 2000 on the C70 T5`s

All C70 T5 models have 240 bhp inc the GT I believe, where as the "S70R & S70R" I think is around 250bhp apart from the V70-R AWD from 99 i think that had around 265bhp I dont think Volvo ever made a C70R nor a more power C70 than the T5 240bhp

power wise there is no difference.

Like the R's the C70 GT is a sportier spec i.e.

17" BBS alloys as standard.upgradable to 18" BBS.
Heated and electric front seats.
Leather / Alcantara seats.upgradable to full leather.
Thicker anti role bars.
Wood or alloy console.
302mm front brakes.
Auto climate control.
Cruse control.
