Default 1965 1800s Best Workshop Manual for New Owner

Hi Guys, recently bought a 1965 1800s and want to buy a workshop manual.
Can you tell me which one is the most comprehensive for the 1800s please? Thanks Dave.

Dave;

Congrats on your acquisition and welcome to this forum!

Most comprehensive manuals are of course the factory "Green Manuals" (which are available scanned...so search around, or maybe someone will post a link)... otherwise, the Haynes manuals are always good to have on hand as a reference.

To have a good start with you new oldie, I suggest you install a Momentary Start-Switch (see: http://www.sw-em.com/Broken%20Vintag...tion%20Key.htm ), and your '65 will have a hydraulic Brake Light Switch, so check your Brake Lights often! (see: http://www.sw-em.com/safety_bulletin_1.htm )

Cheers from Connecticut!
