Oil level reading disappeared following oil change
Hi All,
Had a go at changing the oil and filter on my 2016 V60 CC D3 over the weekend. Used original Volvo filter and 5L of the correct Volvo certified 0w-20 brew. I also reset the service reminder. After a 100 km drive and a proper cooling down period I went to check the oil level in the display, but the function was not available. Same thing happened today. All the other functions are available but it seems that this function has just disappeared? The electronic oil level function is bad enough as it is, but not having anyway at all to check the oil level in your car is a bit scary. Has anyone encountered anything similar? Thanks, |

Stupid question, but is it parked on the flat? Did you press the start button for 2 seconds?

The floor in the garage is even and I am following the correct procedure for doing the check (worked nicely before the oil change). Also all the other functions on the thumb wheel seems to be available - just not oil level...

Have you knocked the cable off the level sensor?

The oil level sensor needs to be recalibrated in order for it to show correct readings. Get a dipstick from 2.0 HDi engine, stick it in there, problem solved as the fact that this is a PSA engine the readings on the dipstick will be correct, but it needs to be the same 2.0 HDi engine with 150 HP
