Hi.
The speedo on my T5 is 4.5 MPH out (linear across the range) but my missus's SLK is spot on! Never seen that before, a (non calibrated) speedo that is accurate. Later, Dan. |

Cool, I seem to have turned this into a "how accurate is your speedo" post!
Bet you never find a speedo that UNDERreads (unless faulty or e.g wheel/tyre combination modified) because if it did you could sue the manufacturer next time you got a speeding ticket! |

Speeeeed
My wife collected the mandatory three points et al in Essex doing 93. She claims her speedo was reading there or thereabouts the same so did not quibble. For those interested generally you should not get done if you are only about plus 3% over the limit. Also you cant be got if you are behind the boys in blue and they are in front of you.
A120 Stansted slip eastbound at nighttime is favourite. Its a long slip down to join up and they park quite a way up so its too late - I got mine tere and my wife one Sunday morning having dropped off friend at airport. Cant complain got caught going too fast - end of story |
