I'm guessing its the AFR that's the problem when winding up the boost.

On a modern ECU one would map the fuel and boost tables to correct, am I right in thinking its not so easy on this ecu?

What would stop a person from fitting a piggy back injector module to provide extra fuel to match the extra boost, thus maintaining safe AFR?
With LH2.4 you can increase the size of the injectors by increasing the size of the MAF in proportion. I think the most popular choice has been the MAF from a 960 and 440cc injectors but you can use the MAF insides in a different sized tube. This basically fools the ECU into thinking less air/fuel is going into your engine than actually is. It works very well up to a point, different ECUs have different quirks.
Chips are available or you can use an Ostrich for tuning and burn your own.
A cheap aftermarket ECU which can run your engine is Speeduino - needs to be tuned though.
It is also a good idea to have a proper boost gauge and an AFR gauge whenever increasing boost of fueling.

There's a guy on turbobricks who sells chips that enable you to make 184whp at 14psi, which is about 205bhp. Bone stock stage 0.
Sorry bro i meant 165bhp....typo!
