XC60 Battery

Need a new battery for my 63 D5 XC60. Is it best to get a genuine Volvo or aftermarket? And what is the best sort of price to pay?

There is a thread somewhere about Batteries and quite a few say Volvo fitted price is pretty good but I am still on my original so have no personal experience.I have a large bank of batteries on my boat and use

They are an odd size, I purchased one from Amazon and was assured online it would fit, it did not so back it went. I went to the dealer in the end.

+1 for Tayna. Great prices, 48hr delivery from Abergele and they seem to have loads of stock. Bought a CTek and battery from them in the last few weeks.

Also +1 for Tanya, have bought over 10 batteries from them so far this year, always spot on.

Had a quote of £125 for the battery from Volvo dealer in Bristol and then another £90 to fit

on top of the £300 for the service. Needless to say I didn’t buy the battery from them. I’ve read that FRF in Swansea give good prices and service, but I never got a reply from multiple attempts to contact them. Tanya and Yuasa have a good reputation, it’s what I am now looking at.
