S80: Gearbox - GM or AW?

Is the 6 speed autobox in the S80 made by GM ( like the T6 that was troublesome) or is it an Aisin Warner box, thanks

not certain but tempted to think AW, I know it is fitted in the Freelander 2 and also Jaguar X type which are all relatives of Volvo.

AW as far as I know.

Yep AW. The 4 speed GM box was only used in the old XC90 and S80 because that was all that would fit with the wide 6 pot. The five pot and new six pot are not so wide and so don't have that problem.
