Rear Parking radar

Hi, has anyone ever fitted parking radar sensors the the rear of a 940 estate?

I have sensors, fitted by a previous owner. Evidence that someone once loved the car, along with a hands free bluetooth, and silver painted brake calipers. I not so sure about the following owners, given the amount of work I've had to do!
Four little round things, not sure which are the transmitters and which are the receivers. All in the straight section of bumper. There is a digital distance display mounted near the rear view mirror, along with beeps. At less than 300mm space left, the beeps go up in frequency, and the display then says 000. I think the display starts at 1600mm. My main complaint is the delay between a pedestrian or object appearing behind car, and the display responding- the person will have moved across the car by the time it senses anything and beeps. When reversing slowly (parking) this time delay is less of a worry, and I have rarely contacted anything! When the beeps go up in frequency, I stop. Even jump out and assess if need be. I'm about to refit my towbar, so things may change. I can't see a model on the display unit- hopefully there are faster responding kits out there. I think I'd like cameras, front and back, back mainly, as I hate scuffing my bumpers, and I also don't like the towbar to contact other peoples cars. High up on the tailgate perhaps, to give a natural looking downward overview. I do a lot of parking in London, and 940's don't alway fit easily in to the gaps that are left by smaller cars. But another plus for RWD's steering. And to think that I used to throw trucks around in earlier times!
On a related note, I think reversing cameras may have become a legal requirement for new cars in the States, as a number of people, toddlers especially, have been hit by cars reversing out of driveways (-driveovers).

I can think of few cars that wound have a need for this less than a 940 estate? with so little to obstruct your view, and awesome steering lock its a very easy vehicle to reverse.

To have a decent system, you will need to spend good money, cheap kits are very poor quality in terms of fit,finish and response time.

Combined dashcam and reversing camera, automatically switches to reverse camera view when you engage reverse.

Other times you can blank the display for an unobscured, blue-tinted mirror which reduces the need to dip the mirror at night.

Don't mount the rear camera on the tailgate though, the shock of shutting the tailgate will destroy it sooner or later. There's a piece of trim at the rear of the headlining with a centrally mounted turn-button trim buttom, i'm planning on using this on mine to mount the rear camera on.

In case you're wondering, i already have one in my other beast, the old dashcam i had in the 760 has given up the goat - err ghost even!
