The previous owner advised it was one of the door microswitches, it's never bothered me so never actioned it.

I haven't had the codes read for this as I only have an engine/gearbox code reader.

you said it was a 'T5', but looking at the center console your car only has 'STC' not 'DSTC' which i thought was standard equipment on all T5 models..??

'STC' was used on LPT models, was it not..??

DSTC was an option on T5s of this vintage.

My T5 is of the same age and only has STC - one less thing to go wrong as far as I am concerned.

Nice car OP, but I think you'll continue to struggle at that price :S
