Default Thermostatically Controlled Electronic Cooling Fan

Planning to add an electronic cooling fan to the front of the radiator to assist in the cooling process of my 164 by blowing air from the front in addition to the mechanical fan at the rear. Before I cobble something together does anyone have any experience in doing this and can advise of any issues i may encounter, where to source what is needed or know of any supplier who provides a dedicated kit for the 164?

I see you're in Scotland...unless you're planning on driving around London or up and down the motorways a lot I really wouldn't bother; the 140/160 cooling system is pretty good.
If there's a weak point it's the oil cooler being part of the rad on auto 164s.
