What is this?
I was looking down the drainage well of my inner wing and picking out leaves and wondering why the water runs out very slowly from in there when I saw this item. See photo attached.
It is obviously clips a cable to the bodywork somewhere, but where exactly? Three cables run past that point next to the bonnet hinge for the washers etc.

Cannot help you on that other than to suggest it fell down there at some point and was too much trouble to retrieve.
I cannot see any type of pipe in that drainage area and am thinking of pumping an anti rust fluid down there. Dinitrol should soak the foam and thus stop wet foam rotting the inner wing out over time. Anyone else gone down that route. Paul. |
