Engine Number Location
Hi there.
I’m a new member so apologies in advance if this post is in the wrong place. I just need some advice on how to find my vehicle’s engine number. I have a 2010 60 plate XC60 D5 2.4 AWD. I have read on another post that the engine number is tucked away somewhere towards the back (as you look under the bonnet). So far I have managed to find the cylinder head number but no engine number. Any help appreciated. Thanks Dave |

Thank you for your replies.
I can see the engine number on the cam belt cover and I also realise it’s on the V5 form. I just want to check if it’s stamped somewhere on the engine itself so I can make sure that all is in order and the engine hasn’t been replaced? |
