Totally agree. Over 70 in a 185 and it drinks like a footballer! Under 70 and it's not too bad.

I've got an S80 163bhp so it's the detuned version and I can eke 40ish MPG out of it on the motorway, sometimes 45 according to the OBC. Going over 70 can make my fuel economy plummet and pottering around town really hurts.

I've found you can eke a few more mpg out around town if you use manual mode and try and keep the torque converter locked to take advantage of more engine braking
