Default T4 drive shafts

Hi everyone,
Please can you confirm if the drive shafts are the same through the range from 1996 to 2004?
Problem is I bought a used gearbox from the UK from a V40 T4 MY2002, installed it but during test drive I feel slack between gear box and wheels.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers

Miguel

What about the remaining components around the engine/gearbox/wheels?
Lower engine mounts, gearbox mount, whishbones... check everything.

Good luck!!

Don't believe they are all the same spline pattern. Having said this, they either fit or they don't. I'd be very surprised of you managed to get one on with a different spline pattern.

Thanks for all sugestions. Well, indeed they are the same spline pattern at gearbox side...I found the slack is on the diff gearwheels.
