from their website
"Not suitable for VW vehicles with extended maintenance intervals (WIV)!" so not the best oil out there at all.

It doesn't say it's for VW vehicles? The V part of the name is for Volvo. And where did I say it was the best oil out there? I was just passing on something I thought might be of interest to others. Sorry for daring to say something that wasn't approved. Best Colin. |

Well, lots of us are anyway. I shall try to be more positive in future. Right now very cheesed off with cut-price oil supplier as my Euro cAr parts are cr@p thread

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. I have just found out that I need a new turbo in my 2009 D5 185 S80, the Volvo tech has told me that the most probable cause of the failure is because I don't use the recommended 0w30!! I have been using Castrol 5w30 A5/B5 bought from my local Volvo dealer and recommended for Ford/Volvo.
