SHELL HELIX 5w-30 A5/B5 - Page 2

Hi,
I am new to the forum and don't wish to sound as though I am hi-jacking this thread, but I badly need some advice.

Pardon my ignorance but I know next to nothing about cars. I have recently bought a 2006 V70 D5 Volvo estate which needs an engine oil change. I have no handbook or information as to whether the car has a Diesel Particulate Filter or not .... could anyone please enlighten me ?

The answer is almost certainly yes, but take a look under the bonnet to be sure. If it has a grey engine cover it has a dpf.
