Hi,
yep - I fitted a dump valve to my auto. First I tried a Bailey Motorsport DV26, but I've now got a DV36 as I prefer the noise. A search on the forum would turn up a few threads - here's one to start you off. http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=30099 Cheers, Pete

I had a Bailey's dv26 fitted to my Saab 9000 cse 2.3 Turbo and it sounded nice it was only when you let off the throttle it would dump but you could make it dump whenever you wanted I really liked it,
Just wish I could have one fitted to my S70 (ME7) Matt. |

I've got a DV26 on my R and I agree,,,, you can get it to dump whenever you want just by lifting off,,,, makes me giggle in town!

Is it guaranteed that a DV on the ME7 will cause problems?

I believe it will because of the complex air metering system on the ECU. Saying that,,,The Bailey DV26 has been designed for 'metered' cars (according to Bailey) so I would try and find someone who has fitted it on the exact same car as yours first, just to be safe.

Some people on other forums have had the DV26 and the DV36 installed for many monthes with no issues, yet others say its bad.
Maybe its just a word of mouth thing where someone says it bad and then its common knowledge? If, it does cause problems surly removing it would reverse all effects? |

Matt,, are you going to the Uxbridge show or live near Kings Lynn. If so we could do a swap and see if it works on your car.
