Default what do i need to know???

Hello all, I would love some advice, I have wanted a volvo for some time now. Now my current car is critically ill, I need a run about/replacement. Tomorrow morning I am going to view a 460 1.8 li (sr) 1994, 69 thou on the clock.

What are the normal things I should look for please???

Many thanks Daniel.

I guess the usual things with most cars....service history, condition of bodywork, mainly rear arches. how it drives and if all the electrics are ok. Fluid levels before and after a drive and the ht leads are fine.

Make sure the car is cold when you view it and then come to turning it on, let it run hot and check the fan comes on (approx 30 mins standing idle, or sooner after a short drive)

Parts are hard to find, speedo cables, body panels accessories etc. All the usual consumables (brakes, timing belts, ht leads and tensioners and idlers are stillvavailable)

These cars are great, they are comfy and for the most part, reliable. They are very underrated!! 90hp on the 1.8 injection unit still feels peppy when pushed.
