Default Daytime running lights
hi all new member so bare with me, I just bought a 2011 v50 1.6 d and wanted to fit drl to car. can I wire live feed to side light live or best go through fuse box, I have in line fuse already on wiring?

There be much V50 knowledge there. I used LED sidelight bulbs when I had a V50 instead of the standard 501 light bulb. I get decent output and it looked good.

you know you already have day running lights? Volvo use the dip beam ..

yes I know but side lights are not the brightest so thought I could fit a extra set of drl,s

Just to say that adding anything to the electrical system "may" upset the canbus system

They are not side lights. They are dipped beam headlights.
