Hey folks that's fab. Really pleased will do that . Ok latest findings. No key for towbar. No problem 3 pound on ebay. Spare key does not start engine. No spare wheel. Don't think it has a spare as it's an r design and the twin exhausts look like they impeded where it should be. But no bottle of gunk or compressor either! Phoned trader and he told me to do one. So I got a bit mad and eventually be agreed to refund 50 pound. He is miffed cos he had interest after I put the deposit on it and I had chipped him . Anyhow, any advice on getting they key working and what's best for a puncture would be great thanks Jed

Dealer doesn't sound as if he bothers to prep cars very well for sale - I suppose XC90's are always good sellers so no need to bother........
The key sounds as if someone might have had a spare cut but not coded to the car - I think it is a dealer coding job only, or perhaps the battery is flat? Hope you enjoy the car, despite the dodgy dealer.

Regarding the key: do you get an immobilizer message in the text display? if so, the key is not recognized. A replacement key will be needed and will need to be programmed, see a dealer.

Thanks Swiss I have ordered the tyre kit. I will see if the key can be sorted. I have but I have used before. He can make keys when there are none!
