V70 roof rails
Hi all,
How easy is it to fit a set of roof rails to a 2011 V70? Mine, being ex-Plod, doesn't have them fitted but they will be handy to have when I need to get the roof rack on. Seen a few for sale via breakers yard etc but do they need drilling/cutting in? cheers |

Take a look at the trim pieces that run the length of the roof.Do they have any short sections that can be prised out?many cars have them or are they all one piece?I would think the mounting holes are already present although possibly blanked off by some means. On my P1 V70 there are oval pieces in the interior plastic trim-one above each rear side window for example-which can be prised out to gain access to the mounting nut/bolt.
