Default 740 turbo estate manual

Hi guys i have put my car up for sale on Ebay.
The main reason for sale apart from the house sale is that my best friend, Pete Smethurst passed away this week, you may remember him with the grey 164 that always won , he was a friend for over 30 years and we restored many Volvo's together, including the 164 i sold to Pete after buying it from Mont Townsend.
I was intending to go to Preston and Weatherby this weekend with Pete however the Volvo has too many memories so i would like to sell it.
The 740 is in very good condition, and for those who saw it at the Northern BKV, it is much better now.
Anyone interested please let me know.
Julian

sorry to hear the news as to why you are selling.

I spoke to you on ebay and made an offer. as an 850 man i can't say i am up on current 740 prices so hope my offer is somewhere near the mark.

it would be nice to add this to my collection.

Thanks

Richard

Sorry to hear the sad news.

(I understand the feeling of loss at the moment, but are you sure that selling the 740 is the right long-term decision for you?)

Best wishes

John

Default Super dupa 164

Just tried adding thinner to my recently purchased 164 in memory of my good mates Pete. Has transformed performance of the old slug from a Bentley mulsan to a turbo R.
The car has become incredibly smooth, starts from cold with no choke required::. I can’t believe the improvements in performance .

Forgot your Polstar Kon versions, use super dupa thinners instead, increasing performance with no modifications.
