Default Diesel M90 box

Due to a change of plans, I have decided to sell the gearbox I removed last year from a '94 diesel 945.
Complete with shifter and x- member, plus includes the Diesel flywheel and clutch.
No propshaft.
In as removed condition. This allegedly might fit other VW engines if you are RWD inclined...

I'd like £150, near Norwich.
Please PM me and I'll get back to you.
James.

Ian was actually interested in buying my 960 at one point to cannibalise it!

Default Diesel M90 gearbox

Shame on him lol!! After all your hard work!

I assume it was to convert his 760 from auto to manual so at least it would be keeping a D24 on the road still. I suppose it could have been worse, he could have been breaking it just to sell the bits!

There was a M90 clutch/gearbox/prop-shaft set from a D24 on eBay only back in February................

Hi guys, I tried to reply to this the other day but forum seemed to be down!

I would have snapped your arm off, but I actually now have a full manual conversion kit for my 760 sat in my garage now (finally)!

Yes, I did consider butchering the 960, although it would have felt wrong! Had to turn the offer down though through lack of usable space to store/strip it! Has it gone to a good home now Steve?

Looks like RWDKev is having it now.

He's just up the road from you, so you may see it bobbing about

I was only pulling your leg with the canibalisation comment btw

Glad you've got a conversion sorted mate.

I am indeed! Yes, it's going to a very good home!! I'm a big fan of both the 960 and the D24 having run both separately for many years. To have them finally in the same package is a dream come true for a Volvo nut like me!!

Default Prop

Is the petrol M90 prop the same length as the diesel M90 one? Can you use either?

White block prop shaft is shorter than that for D24. I don't know about red block.
