Started the XC90 up at the w/e and drove around the block with no problems or hesitation at all, even though she had sat for a couple of weeks and it was very cold and wet!
Not sure about our newer XC60 though - just been serviced by an Indie and they cannot clear an ECU fault code P060B48, indicating an internal system check failure - arghh. It is off to Volvo dealer next week for diagnosis - this will be interesting. Not going to be happy if new ECU needed. |

Little trip
Picking up daughter from University.
Cardiff to Liverpool and back with a bit of pottering around Liverpool (several laps around the city centre traffic system) on one tank of diesel. No hiccups and averaged 35mpg. Allegedly 20 miles range left when I went to refuel so slightly worried.

Had a little ride out today & did some exploring, mixture of road types & conditions, ranging from wet A roads to icy, narrow & twisty mountain roads, covered about 400 miles & it was faultless, the gearbox behaved impeccably following its recent flush & fresh fluid.

No problems today only because I didn’t drive it. Door & sunroof seals Gummi pflege’d, last of the roof lining and c & d pillar covers cleaned and all the internal glass cleaned. Instrument dials swapped over with the nicer blue ones. I found the cause of an annoying vibration at idle: one of the instrument securing screws not screwed in but rattling loose in the dashboard.

Traveled to Gulliver's Kingdom today (60 mile + trip for me) and the car drove beautifully with no faults and returned 34.7 MPG (on the trip)
