Default V90 Tailgate buttons not working

Hi All,

I have a 2018 V90. The power close buttons on the tailgate have suddenly stopped working. The button on the key works, as does the button in the car, the handle on the tailgate to open it, and the foot-waving thing. It’s just the buttons on the tailgate to close it or to close and lock it that have stopped working. Does anyone know if there is a way of resetting this that might solve the problem or what I should be looking for with a multimeter to check the power supply is ok?

Many thanks!

May be just a connector come lose at back of switch, prise switch out or remove trim and check connections sockets out

I have had a look and the switch appears to be fine. I’d like to check the connections with a multimeter but I don’t have a wiring diagram. Thank you.
