im trying to keep this 'box alive as long as possible! the gear changes are definitely better now but how much of that is the lubegard and how much is just the new fluid, is anyone's guess
Thanks for the link.

How much do you put in?

I'm assuming you drain the fluid from the transmission, fill it back up again & add x amount of Lubeguard, then reset the level.

That's exactly right, it says on the bottle but my maths worked it out at 80ml per 3l roughly, which is approximately how much comes out each time. I just put about 80ml in the jug then topped up to 1ltr; then another 1ltr then whatever the balance is

Jet washed and de-greased wheels, still a bit tatty, need a refurb

hoovered out and febreezed

tinkered with handbrake adjustments for better hold on 1 less click of the lever and checked no drag at wheels

hoovered out airbox and banged crap out of air filter. clean enough, put back in. found one of the vacuum pipes at the rear of air box fallen off (right side) no idea how long that's been off. reconnected

cleaned MAF

checked fault codes (confused me for a bit because Avast suddenly decided to vault my VCX drivers. set them free again, worked) - you might notice there has been substantial windows 10 updates lately, you might want to check your installs. 2 codes, 1 as expected for radio removed / 1 for bloody DDM module central lock again. orange. cleared, locks always work fine

The '07 V70 got new oil + filter @ 114,280 mi.
6,255 Winter miles made for smelly oil.

It's time for belts and rollers.

Default Abl xenon headlights

Removed some headlights and installed a refurbished set.
The reflector was really bad, no more chrome to shine....
Fitted some good reflector’s with plenty of chrome.
Shine like new now....

not really a 'did' as such..

received powerflex bushes for front wishbones. made wooden pressing tool for the horizontal one which has the metal collar (to press on collar only and not do any damage to metal). tested in press without bush, more than strong enough

noted that the bar through the middle turns by hand quite easily and therefore there is no possible way of pressing it in the 'wrong way' or at the wrong angle. just turn to suit once fitted

also received top springseats (volvo branded) because I'm just gonna take the McP strut out for easy removal / refit of wishbone (hang with strap / tie+restrict movement of hub to make sure d/shaft doesn't come out) and if i've got that out it's just daft not to replace the topmounts. currents are probably ok but 50k+ and 20 years old

also got some camber adjust top bolts to make adjustments more accurate

that's my bank holiday weekend sorted
